About
Uniting’s youth housing and homelessness services support young people aged 12–24 years in a time of crisis or needing help to get back on track with finding and maintaining suitable accommodation. Depending on their needs, we can assist with: accessing crisis, transitional and long-term accommodation; getting support for mental health and wellbeing; providing information, liaison and advocacy; and connecting to support services (such as gambling, alcohol and drug services). Our Uniting Doorways for Youth supports young people to maintain or find accommodation, and work towards a safe, independent and stable future. Our drop-in centres are in Wyong and Campbelltown. Through Uniting Reconnect we can help young people aged 12–18 years to heal relationships with families, assist in finding a safe place to live, and connect them to other support services. Through Uniting Youth2Home we assist young people aged 16–24 years with crisis, transitional and long-term housing, mental health support, and skills for living independently. Our drop-in centre is in Parramatta.
