Support young people with lived experience of homelessness to share their stories as part of the Youth Homelessness Advisory Council (YHAC). A part of the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA), YHAC supports young people in safely sharing their lived experiences to create awareness of what it's like to be young and homeless. Through media engagements, policy submissions, sector reviews and direct engagement with decision-makers, YHAC advocates for change led by lived experience, helping to shape better services and policy for young people. This ensures young people's voices are central to the decisions that affect their lives.
