The annual Couch Surfing event, coordinated by Anglicare NT and City of Darwin, is taking place on Youth Homelessness Matters Day – Wednesday 15 April 2026.
The day brings together young people, families, schools, community organisations and supporters for couch surfing races, decorated couch displays and information stalls to raise awareness of youth homelessness.
All young people need a safe place to call home. Sleeping on the street, in overcrowded conditions or on someone’s couch is not OK! Together, we can end child and youth homelessness.
Join the day, join the fun, learn more about youth homelessness and spread the word! Everyone is welcome to watch the races.
For more information phone Phil at Anglicare NT on 8946 4800 or register by emailing couchsurfing@anglicare-nt.org.au
