Homes NSW is currently developing a Child and Youth Homelessness Action Plan to address homelessness among children and young people across NSW.

Yfoundations, alongside Homelessness NSW and DVNSW, is hosting this half-day online workshop to ensure the sector has a meaningful opportunity to shape the Plan before stakeholder consultations are completed.

The workshop will include:

• An overview from Homes NSW on the Action Plan, key timelines and what stakeholders have told them so far
• Facilitated breakout room discussions hosted by Yfoundations, Homelessness NSW and DVNSW, focused on different cohorts and areas of the sector
• A full group discussion on sector priorities and what the first Action Plan should focus on
• A wrap-up and next steps

Homes NSW is currently finalising a Discussion Paper drawing together what has been heard from stakeholders to date. This will be shared with all registered participants once available.

Following this workshop, a summary of outcomes will also be presented at the Homelessness NSW SHS Network meeting on 21 May, providing a further opportunity for input.

We encourage all service providers working with children, young people and families experiencing homelessness to register and have their voice heard in this important process.
