Hope Street Youth and Family Services Limited was one of the first crisis accommodation services for young people in Victoria and remains one of the state's leading specialist youth homelessness organisations.
Drawing on 45 years of delivering youth-focused programs, services and practice across the Northern and Western metropolitan regions in Victoria. Hope Street's vision is a society in which all young people and young families have a safe place to call home. Its purpose is to influence change to end youth homelessness and empower young people and young families to achieve their full potential, founded on the belief that resolving homelessness is the responsibility of federal, state and local governments, the community, families and individuals, and that young people have the right to safe, secure, affordable housing and to be treated as equal citizens in our society, with equal access to resources, decision making, and life options. This sits at the heart of Hope Street's innovative, impact-focused approach to service delivery, shaped and driven by young people themselves, in collaboration with Hope Street’s partners"
