The Uluru Statement from the Heart (the Statement) is a document that lays out a path forward for Indigenous sovereignty. It affirms that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have been the sovereign nations in this country from ‘time immemorial,’ and that this sovereignty has never been ceded. Yfoundations, DVNSW and HNSW acknowledge this sovereignty and the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. - April 2021
